Peking, October 30, 1908. DISMISSALS of British subjects employed on the Imperial Railways of North China: My telegram No. 163 of the 19th instant.
As the result of personal negotiations between Mr. Kinder and the Director- General of Railways, terms of settlement have been arranged as to both the questions at issue. Mr. Hillier, who is acting for the British and Chinese Corporation in the matter, agrees with me in approving the solution arrived at.
